Claudio was born in Arcos de la Frontera, a town from Cadiz province in the region of Andalucia in the south of Spain.

I became a Superior Technician in Natural Resources. Since childhood I involved himself as an ornithologist and naturalist thanks to the time I spent in the countryside with my paternal grandfather. Later I had meetings with friends and associations of the mountain of Cadiz.

I had the opportunity to be employed at my exciting world in different wildlife projects like protection, monitoring and control of in dangered species such as Montagu’s Harrier, the Imperial Eagle and steppe census in the province of Cadiz.

I have also taken part as a volunteer in several occasions on different campaigns for the Spanish Association SEO Bird life like the SACRE program from SEO Bird Life on wintering and breeding birds in the surrounding of Arcos de la Frontera (Cadiz).

I have worked in the campaign of World Day of migratory birds by the foundation “Word Migratory Bird Day” and annually as a partner, voluntary SEO / Bird life in the “World Bird Day”, which is held every beginning of October. I have been reporting on its events to the people of Arcos area about the importance of birds as bioindicators of the planet.

I have currently written articles to the local newspaper called “Arcos Informacion” regarding nature and wildlife in the countryside and surrounding of Arcos.

With Birding Andalusian, it tries to announce the rich biodiversity of the environment of Arcos de la Frontera and surroundings, since of the to protect areas of the mountain of Cadiz. The excursions that offer, give the opportunity to that any person, could see live those species that have never imagined that they were there, camouflaged in the land or between the vegetation or even sometimes, sharing his house.

Also, we want to promote another type of tourism and another form of living your holidays, with the hotels, Hostel, rural housings, restaurants and bars of Arcos de la Frontera and its surroundings.
